Barred Forest-falcon Micrastur ruficollis para anidar usan cavidades en los árboles, ponen dos o tres huevos de color blancos, eclosionan entre 33 y 35 días después de la puesta y los pichones permanecen en el nido durante 35 y 44 días después de la eclosión.
